focus—into every trainee. We provide deep local expertise in Croydon, Sutton, and
Kingston, ensuring you understand the specific road challenges your future pupils
will face. Furthermore, we offer a unique Purple Partner program; whether you are
a Potential Driving Instructor (PDI) working on a trainee license or a newly
qualified ADI, you have the opportunity to join our franchise and benefit from a
steady stream of local learners and premium brand support. With transparent
pricing, flexible training schedules to fit around your current job, and a proven track
record of high pass rates, Purple is the premier choice for aspiring instructors
in South London.
How to Become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI)
The path to becoming a driving instructor is a three-stage process governed by the DVSA, designed to ensure the highest standards of road safety and tuition.
Once you have passed Part 2 and completed 40 hours of training, you can apply for a trainee licence (PDI badge). This “pink badge” allows you to earn while you learn, giving paid lessons as a Purple Partner to gain the vital experience needed to ace your Part 3 exam.
