Why would I join and pay Purple Driving School when I can do this myself?

At Purple Driving School we are the infrastructure. We work with you so the hours you would spend finding and vetting clients can be spent with the clients, making money. And if you are not happy, you can leave at any time. There is no contract.

Will you supply me with enough pupils?

We work with you to ensure that you have the right number of pupils to make your business work.

What is the pupil supply like in my area?

Purple Driving School monitors pupil supply in each area and balance it with the right number of pupils between the driving instructors.

Can I set my own prices, hours and area?

Of course, we don’t dictate how you run your business and you’re free to set your own business preferences including prices, hours and area. Our team are here to support you.

What happens if something goes wrong with the car?

Unlike traditional driving schools, Purple Driving School is a community of self-employed driving instructors and are not involved in the operational activities of its member instructors. However, we are here to help in the unfortunate event of something going wrong with your car and can put you in touch with other members who can cover your work with mutual agreement.

Does Purple driving School's membership binds me into a contract?

Not long term contracts! Purple Driving School offers free membership to all ADI, PDI instructors and only charges for the period your membership is active or you can pause it for the period you are away or inactive. Pupils that are accepted by its members on a “Pay As You Need” basis also be charged if you are not on monthly/weekly franchise contract for a complete peace of mind and less admin.

How much does Purple Driving School charge for each pupil provided?

Purple Driving School charges £38 per pupil on "Pay As You Need basis" or a set fee for Intensive Driving Courses which varies from time to time. That cost goes towards the marketing campaigns running across all the marketing channels mentioned on this page.

I am a franchisee of a traditional driving school, can I become a member too?

Of course, Purple Driving School is an open membership platform that helps instructors gain exposure, find pupils and attend networking events and share knowledge so even if you are running your independent driving school or a member of another, you can still join on "Pay As You Need" basis.
